When the TARDIS is pulled into the fracture, the Fifth Doctor and Tegan find themselves in a battlefield where nothing moves as time would intend, nothing dies, and nothing ends. Soldiers fight the same instant for the thousandth time. Cities collapse forever. And the Spiral only grows stronger.
To break the loop, the Doctor must uncover what really triggered the detonation. But time is running out. Literally. And if the Spiral completes its cycle . . . the war doesn’t end.
